There’s not a big difference nutritionally. Choose either.
Some raw nuts are actually dangerous to eat (certain strains of almonds; some cashews).
My “go-to” nuts: raw walnuts, roasted macadamia nuts, roasted almonds, & raw/roasted cashews.

Oatmeal (particularly irish steel cut) is a fantastic food – typically used for breakfast – however based on my belief in working with the body’s natural bio-rhythms (utilizing *and not suppressing* the naturally elevated cortisol in the morning), I prefer to keep breakfast LOW CARB and save oatmeal for later in the day (particularly pre/post exercise).
If you exercise in the morning, however, having oatmeal after exercise is the exception to my approach.
Great recipe for muscle building & fat loss: oatmeal, organic berries, w/ some protein powder mixed in.
